Other Information

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that primarily affects the face, causing redness, visible blood vessels, and sometimes small, red, pus-filled bumps. It often flares up due to triggers like heat, stress, and certain foods.

The exact cause is unknown, but it’s believed to be linked to genetics, an overactive immune response, environmental factors, and Demodex mites on the skin.

Triggers vary by person but often include:

    • Hot or spicy foods
    • Alcohol, especially red wine
    • Extreme temperatures (hot or cold)
    • Sun exposure
    • Stress and emotional changes
    • Skincare products with harsh ingredients

Here at Winslow Skincare, we can an diagnose rosacea based on your symptoms, medical history, and a skin examination.

There is no permanent cure, but symptoms can be managed with proper skincare, lifestyle adjustments, and medical treatments.
